Rabies - Rabies protection is not just a good idea, it is required by law. Our Clinic offers periodic rabies clinics, so now there is no excuse to miss this key vaccination.
Distemper Combo - This highly contagious virus that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems.
- Adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2): A virus that causes respiratory disease and hepatitis.
- Parvovirus: A highly contagious virus that causes severe gastrointestinal symptoms, including vomiting and bloody diarrhea.
- Parainfluenza virus: A virus that contributes to respiratory infections, such as kennel cough.
- Leptospirosis: A bacterial infection that can affect both dogs and humans
Coronavirus: [Dogs up to age 3Y]
There are three main canine coronavirus infections:
- canine enteric coronavirus (CCoV or CECoV) – the word enteric tells us that the intestines are involved. This sort of coronavirus is a vomiting and diarrhea disease
- canine respiratory coronavirus (CRCoV) – which can be considered part of the canine infectious respiratory disease complex (AKA ‘kennel cough’)
- pantropic canine coronavirus – which isn’t so much a separate strain as a virulent mutation of CCoV. This causes severe gastrointestinal signs and can affect other organs
